Coverage varies by the state you live in, but it protects you as soon as you make your first payment. With CFAR, you can cancel for any reason and get back at least 75%, minus the cost of the insurance — available in every US state.
Most states
Go to your account in the SpringBreak U Portal, click “Make a Payment,” and you'll be offered travel protection right there. Click “Yes” and you're covered.
New York residents
You'll need to purchase CFAR protection here within 14 days of your first deposit being paid.
Already purchased and need to cancel? Email your Spring Break Specialist — they'll send you instructions for filing a claim to get a portion of your money back.

Yes. We offer optional Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection through Travel Insured International, available in every state.
Optional coverage that lets you cancel your trip for any reason and get back at least 75% of what you paid, minus the cost of the insurance.
Within 14 days of your first deposit. After that window, CFAR is no longer available for your trip.
If you need to cancel and you didn't add protection, you won't receive a refund.
